Deleting an entry, a child or the account
What can be undone and what cannot - deleting entries, a child's profile with 7 days to restore it, and the account.
An entry
Open the entry and tap Delete entry. Right after, the bar at the bottom offers Undo — also once the deletion has reached the server.
A medication dose or a temperature reading is deleted only after a confirmation and has no Undo; every caregiver sees it struck through on the timeline for 24 hours.
A child
More → Settings → Children, choose the child, Delete child. All entries, stats and schedules of this child disappear for every caregiver. You can restore them for 7 days in More → Settings → Children, section Deleted; after that the child's data is deleted for good. Before deleting, the app offers a copy of the child's data.
Withdraw consent (on the same screen) works differently: without the consent there is no basis for keeping the child's health data, so the profile and its entries are deleted at once, with no 7 days to restore. The family's other parents get a copy of the child's data by e-mail.
The account
More → Settings → Account → Delete account. Before the deletion we e-mail you a copy of your data (CSV, the link is valid for 30 days). Then:
- a family where nobody else is left is deleted with its diary;
- in a family the others still use, you lose access and your entries stay visible to the other caregivers, shown as a deleted caregiver;
- the family's owner first hands ownership to someone else.
An account nobody has signed in to for three years gets an e-mail warning; one still unused a year later is deleted the same way.
